Darjeeling was the highlight of my brief visit to India. After a 25 hour bus journey from Kathmandu which took us deeper into the Himalayas, we arrived at the bustling, pleasant town of Darjeeling, famous for tea plantations. Surrounded by clouds and lodged between China to the North, Bhutan to the East, Nepal to the West and Bangladesh to the South-East, Darjeeling was rich in culture - and good tea too!
